Ambleside is the most concentrated combination of ocean, mountains, and elite schooling in Metro Vancouver — and West Vancouver Secondary regularly tops the province's public-school rankings. We place senior executives and physicians here when school priority is high and the lifestyle premium is justified. The Lions Gate bridge is the daily question: leave before 7:30 AM or after 9:30 AM and you're fine; the middle hour is its own punishment. Worth knowing: the rental market here is small and slow — listings linger because the right tenant is the priority, so expect a more conservative landlord vetting process.
