- Transit is genuinely limited — budget for two vehicles and test your real commute by car at rush hour before committing
- Clayton townhouse stratas vary widely on pet, rental, and parking rules — get the strata's bylaws, not just the landlord's word
- Some Cloverdale Proper character houses are older with dated heating and drainage; inspect before signing, especially basements in a rainy region
