Glen Park solves an equation most clients assume is unsolvable: a quiet, village-scale neighborhood with detached homes and a wild canyon, plus its own BART station — downtown in about ten minutes, SFO without a transfer, and I-280 on the doorstep for Peninsula commutes. The village at Chenery and Diamond is tiny but complete, anchored by Canyon Market and a bookshop that hosts live jazz. We place Peninsula-commuting families and hybrid workers here constantly, and they stay. The constraint is supply: this is one of the smallest rental markets in the city, so good units move in days and we often pre-commit clients sight unseen with video walkthroughs. Schools are workable rather than the draw — Lick-Wilmerding's proximity matters more to high-school families.

- Tiny rental inventory — expect to decide within 24-48 hours when a good unit lists
- Hillside homes often mean long exterior stair runs and no level entry — verify moving and accessibility logistics
- Blocks near the BART station and San Jose Avenue carry train and traffic noise — test with windows open
