West Hollywood is the most walkable, most amenity-rich neighborhood in central LA. We send entertainment industry transferees, design and fashion executives, and singles/couples here when they explicitly want urbanism over family infrastructure. Schools are weak, traffic on the major boulevards is bad, but you can sell the car and most of LA is within a 15-minute Uber. The character is unambiguously young-professional and design-coded.

- Sunset Strip noise affects buildings facing south of Sunset; verify orientation
- Some older mid-rises have pending rent-control disputes; review building history
- Parking is rarely included and expensive ($250-$400/mo)
- Walkability scores can mislead — some 'walkable' destinations require crossing 5-lane boulevards
