Pacific Relocation's take
The Valley answer for industry-coded families with school priority.
Studio City and Sherman Oaks (specifically south of Ventura Blvd) are the Valley's strongest family answer — Carpenter Charter is one of the top public elementaries in LA, Harvard-Westlake's middle school is a 2-mile drive, and the Cahuenga Pass puts west-side employers within 15-25 minutes. We place entertainment industry families here who work at the major studios (Universal, Warner, CBS) and want family stability with industry convenience. The trade is the Valley heat differential (summer can be 10-15°F hotter than the west side) and the brand connotation some clients want to avoid.
