Pacific Relocation's take
Where green space and groceries are both a short walk.
Greenway is one of the smallest neighborhoods in Beaverton, and we point clients here when they want a genuine medium between suburban quiet and being able to walk somewhere useful. The defining feature is the 87-acre Greenway Park out the back door, with the Fanno Creek trail running for miles, while Whole Foods and Cascade Plaza handle errands out the front. The housing is mostly condos, townhomes and garden apartments from the 1970s–90s, so it rents a touch below the citywide average and suits downsizers and small families well. The trade-off is that it is still car-reliant for commuting, and the older buildings vary a lot in condition and noise insulation. Schools are decent rather than top-tier, which keeps prices reasonable. We love it for active retirees, dog owners and anyone who values a daily walk over a walkable nightlife.

Our advice
Before you sign a lease
- Many units here date to the 1970s–80s — ask about window upgrades, insulation and any history of plumbing or moisture issues before signing
- Some garden complexes back directly onto the Fanno Creek floodplain; confirm the building has never had ground-floor flooding
- Condo-conversion rentals can carry strict single-pet limits set by the HOA, not the landlord — verify the HOA pet rule directly
